My partner and I are staying in Torquay for a few days and No7 was highly recommended to us. We were told it would be hard to get a booking as the place was normally busy but by chance we arrived and another booking hadn't shown up, straight away were greeted and seated, the place had a nice atmosphere and the staff were all attentive and professional, we had a tray of foods that are being cooked bought over to the table to show what they have and the freshness. The food was outstanding and full of flavour plus the portion sizes were perfect. We highly recommend this place to anyone interested in finding a fish restaurant as No7 is definitely a contender for the top, if not the best I've found so far.

Everything is special about this place. The food is exceptional, the service is brilliant and the drinks are amazing. The mussels scallops and prawns that are cooked in the garlic butter were to die for. I could have drunk the garlic butter by the pint. The monkfish was some of the best I’ve ever had, cooked to perfection. They also had a white port spritz… wow! Possibly the most refreshing and moreish drink. The whole experience was amazing. It is expensive, but when the service, food and drinks are as good as this, you would happily pay more!

A true gem for wine lovers. The selection of wines by the glass is outstanding, and the wine flights have been absolutely delightful — thoughtfully curated and a real pleasure to explore. Robin, the sommelier, brings incredible knowledge and passion to every recommendation, making each visit thoroughly enjoyable. We brought friends along this time and they were equally impressed. Visiting has become a yearly tradition we genuinely look forward to, and it never disappoints.

the best fish dishes I have had in a long time Service was excellent. And being shown the fish before choosing and going over the menu was really interesting and set the scene for the menu The desert was a total excess after a starter and main The beer and cider were from a local brewer. Bays. And very good Worth planning at least a month ahead if not further ahead in the summer

Absolutely unbelievable, could not recommend more!! Don’t bother going if you’re not going for the fish, would be a waste - but if you’re unsure about seafood I can guarantee this place will change your mind… Service was impeccable, namely our wonderful waitress Charley - she explained all their specials and options clearly and helped recommend the suitable wines to go with. The food itself is to die for, I had the 3 fish 3 different ways - the monkfish in butter was possibly the best fish i’ve ever had… We also indulged in a rhubarb creme brûlée - need I say more? We then followed the meal with one of their wine tastings - we were there for the Italian night. This was an absolutely wonderful experience, all the wines were gorgeous and it was fabulous to learn more about each one with our delicious nibbles alongside! Seriously, give this place a go.
